This was my sixth HAL cruise. HAL has always been my favorite. I've also experienced Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival. I chose this cruise because the week of March 16th was the best fit for our group of 12 (all women) and the price was good for everyone in our group. I haven't sailed HAL for several years. I know Oosterdam is an older ship (2003 launch) but it had been refurbished in 2016 so I wasn't too concerned about that.

I enjoyed a relaxing week in Fort Lauderdale with my husband before joining a group of eleven women (sisters, daughters, aunts, cousins). After dropping my husband off at the airport, I was ready for some fun on the ship.
