First let me say the cruise was 5 stars BUT.

I don't like to comment about fellow passengers. We all have our own quirks and habits. This time I have to point out a few of nasty things I saw.

Don't sample the buffet with your fingers and worse don't keep licking your fingers while handling food and the utensils used to serve the food. Geez how do you spell norovirus?

Cabin Review

Interior

We booked an inside cabin on the 4th deck. It was smaller than the balcony we normally book, but large enough for the 2 of us. Our cabin steward was great. There are no refrigerators in most cabins on the lower decks, so if you want something to be cool, just ask for ice. Lots of storage and plenty of hangers.

Port Reviews

Tampa

Tampa is one of the easiest ports of departure. The parking at terminal 6 is so cloase to the ship there is no need to check your bags before you park.

Key West

Key West is lots of fun, but there were two drawbacks. The ship is only in port for about 6 hours and the Rhapsody had to use the Navy base. When docked at the Navy base you'll have to use the shuttles supplied to get downtown. It's not all that bad but it does take away for your time you can spend having fun in Key West.

Cozumel

Fun place to shop. You can find everything you want without leaving the shopping area at the end of the pier, but the same things can be found just across the street for better prices. It's safe to shop outside of the pier area. The vendors are a little more aggressive but still friendly.

Belize City

Expect about a 20-30 minute boat ride from ship to shore. Unless you book a tour you'll find limited shopping on the pier itself. I would suggest not to leave to pier area unless you are with a tour. Not a great place to just walk around, use a lot of caution.

Costa Maya

I have to give this 2 stars this time. We like to shop, but this time there were 4 ships in port with about 10000 passengers crowding into the very small shopping area. Not a good time for us. Let's hope they expand the shopping area.
