We were so excited to go on the ship, we have cruised with RC many time and 1 time with Carnival,,, RC is our fav by fair!!! I had reservations about this cruise from the beginning when we booked it I wanted 5 cabins and upon paying for them my credit card locked us out after the first 2 the sales lady said no worries we will hold and pay for the rest in the morning upon morning we lost 2 cabins ended up getting back 1 which left us with 4 cabins, we weren't happy but we settled. this trip ment a lot to us as my son was asking his gf to marry him on this cruise.. we book 4 aurea rooms and had extended balconies ( do not recommend) upon arrival we booked excursions within 3 hrs was told they could not get our excursion for St Thomas and had to settle for another one (this was after we were garenteed it) then in St marten the excursion we sat on atv's waiting while the business owner was bugging out about having to many people and not enough ATVs (we booked 9 of them and only 7 showed up in our family so they had 2 extra and still didn't have enough) after sitting in the hot sun for over 30 min watching the owner run around not knowing what to do we left and found dunn buggies and rented them, more fun and no aggreivation.

Back on board food was horrible only ate 1 night in the dining room 4 nights in specailty rest and 2 in buffet... food never changed and was not very good, rude workers seemed the only time they were nice was when you paid for extra stuff 1 of the front desk ladies were down right rude to us when we were trying to take out cash for the next day in bahamas,,, we had aurea and the alcohol package sucks, if you want to upgrade it has to be everone in the room, tried to explain I do not drink due to health reasons but no leway on this rule. so paid for our drinks, on this ship everything cost extra and they still treat you like crap. we ended paying a ton extra I could have gone to Atlantis in the bahamas for a week for what I paid on this cruise and still have some leftover money ( and I have gone there for a week many times) The times on port are not great PR at 5pm and leave ST Maarteen by 2... The aurea private areas after 1st day no one checked to see if you have a card to get in and was always crowded there... the boat rocks constantly even when docked so no stability.. in general not happy with this cruiseline.. but was so glad to be with my grown children and hubby and watching my son propose on the boat... oh yeah cabin stunk like cigarettes most of the trip anll 4 of my cabins and they were not cleaned when we got there, they werent vacuuemed
