We choose this cruise as we wanted to visit the Caribbean and the price of a balcony room and the new Seaside ship was appealing. We have cruised before with RC and Princess and must admit to being nervous due to some of the negative reviews we had read however we went with an open mind and had a fantastic holiday.

We booked the Aurea package which included spa access and access to quieter areas of the ship to sunbathe which we liked. I had also noticed in previous reviews that deck 9 has extended balconies which was great. We loved the food both in the buffet and main Seashore restaurant ( I am vegetarian but found plenty of choice). The entertainment shows were much better than on our previous cruises and overall we had a great time, if I had one complaint it would be the short port stops with this cruise which meant we couldn't really go far but we did enjoy our kayak and snorkelling trip. Overall we had a great time and we will cruise with MSC again.

Pleased with space, I had read in other reviews to take some folding hangers which I did and this was a great tip, also to take magnets to hang little things on, I used them to hang swimwear out on the balcony to dry.
