My DW and I were part of 5 couples that have travelled together in the past. We were last on the Brilliance of the seas in Oct 07. This time instead of flying to Florida, We chose Cape Liberty. We live in the Phila Area, so instead of each driving, we hired a Mini-bus (think Casino Bus)Everything went off without a hitch. We left our home area at 11AM and were in the Winjammer by 1 PM.

We left on time at 4PM (gotta like that you don't have to bring your life jacket to the muster)The weather was beautiful except for the last day off the East Coast when the decks were closed due to high winds.

We took the Old and New San Juan tour and it was very good. In St. Thomas, we shopped (what else) and then went to Magen's Bay. What a ride! The bay was not very crowded even though there was 3 other ships in at the same time. Was disappointed that we could not get a close up view of the Oasis, since it was docked almost out of our sight. In Samana, we went to the Cayo Levantado Beach. This was really a great place with a great beach and plenty of other services. We booked this excursion based on reviews in CC. We heard from others that they were disappointed in some of the land tours in Samana. In Labadee, we decided not to book any excursions and went to one of the Beaches, walked around a lot and had a very good BBQ lunch. The only downside was the pressure of the vendors selling trinkets. We considered what we spent a donation rather than a purchase.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

No complaints. We use the cabin to sleep in and the balcony to view the outside. Other than that, we are out and about most of the time
