We sailed Carnival a lot but quit a few years ago. It had gotten to the point that the food and service was terrible. Then on a whim last year we booked a short cruise with them. Lots of fun so we tried the Carnival Miracle.

The food has improved in our opinion both on the buffet and dining room. We had anytime dining and had good service and horrible service. The horrible service was four of the seven times we had dinner. The teams had empty tables and ignored us from the start. Service was so slow we approached one of the "suited guys" as he walked around-he blew us off and literally shrugged his shoulders. But the good service was good. The buffet staff have improved greatly since our return to Carnival. Tables cleared, cleaned and very friendly. The buffet staff were great in our opinion.

The crew were all very friendly and always smiled and nodded. Finally they have increased the deck drink servers that circulate around the ship. Better service.. Our cabin and cabin staff were very good-room was always cleaned well and very personal attitude, like ours was the only room he had. Leigh the cruise director was outstanding-period. Best director in all our years of cruising. Production shows were terrific. Only issue with the entertainment was the piano bar guy. He was gross and vulgar ALL the time.
