Have done 8+ ocean cruises, 7 river cruises. This experience with Viking Ocean was the best we've had. Food was excellent, varied menus and lots of choices. Good excursions and options at each port. In retrospect we would have done more adventuresome excursions on our West Indies but no regrets.
Staff on the ship is top shelf. The crew was just as good as could be.
Have read previous reviews on CC with some complaints and negative comments about Viking Sea. If there were problems earlier there aren't now.

Barbados
Taxi stand in Barbados wasn't honest, in our experience. Choose an option, get on a van, a few miles out from port the real negotiations begin - we were disappointed. Lots to see and do in Barbados but beware.
