Couldn’t pass up this amazing deal to do an 11-day balcony cruise to 3 countries in South America, including 3 days at Carnival in Rio, for only about $950!

The Eclipse was recently remodeled, and the rooms and public spaces are beautiful.

We’ve done 45 cruises and Guiseppi, at only 26 years old was probably the best cruise director we’ve ever had. He really was made for this job. The captain was one of the most visible we’ve ever seen, attending many events and chatting with everyone. He gave great reports from the bridge twice a day.

Deluxe Veranda 2C

Cabin 2C

Our balcony room was beautifully laid out with great storage and the best bathroom we’ve had at sea. Loved the glass doors in the shower. TV could be a little bigger and better placed. Bed was great, but sofa was so hard as to be unusable as anything but a storage rack. The WiFi access point didn’t work for our room. They came to fix it and it worked better, but signal was still too weak for me to use. Not a big problem, as the Apple Internet cafe had a great signal and I used that room. The obstruction from the roof of the night club was minimal; we could barely notice it. Our kids room 6205, had a bit more obstruction from the top of the lifeboat.
