Sail Date: Mar 2019
Cabin: Interior with Virtual Balcony
Traveled with children

We chose this cruise because of the 9 day itinerary. And because of how long we were in port at each stop. But unfortunately because Royal decided to set sale with the ship not being at 100% we did not get the full benefit.

If you had a child on this cruise you were very disappointed, which we did in our group. Adventure Ocean did not open until the 7th day of our 9 day cruise. Royal should have disclosed this to families up front before they had us all on board. But the worst part was, they kept saying, "it will be open tomorrow", and it never was until the 7th day.

Also the one water slide never opened when we were on board and the gym, which my husband would have used everyday, never opened.

Cabin Review

Interior with Virtual Balcony

Cabin 4U

We chose an Interior Virtual Balcony room for the 1st time. But unfortunately because the ship set sale and things were not at 100% our Virtual Balcony did not work most of the time. That being said Royal did refund money to us due to it not working, but I don't think I would pay for this upgrade with an interior room again. Just a big TV in your room on the wall, which would come on sometimes and you would have a little bit of day light from it.
