To begin, yes this was our first Celebrity cruise but it was my 47th cruise overall. I had fairly high expectations for this ship and wanted to compare it with NCL although we tend to cruise on Silversea & Crystal. Definitely did not live up to my expectations.

We were on the 2nd cruise since the ship was refurbished and the ship still was not 100% complete. When we arrived in our cabin the first day, the fan was so loud it sounded like an airplane taking off and the bathroom door was rattling (and we weren't even at sea). We found our cabin steward (he was excellent throughout) who called the engineer to fix the issues. We soon realized that our thermostat didn't work - whenever we wanted to adjust the temperature, the engineer had to be called. He would set it at either the warmest temperature or the coldest temperature. After the 4th time, we told the cabin steward that we would live with the cold.

There was a "sofa" in the cabin that was enough for just one person - ridiculous!

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

The bathroom was small but functional. The bath products made my skin itch so luckily I had some of my own products with me. There was good storage in the cabin. The verandah was average size and the chairs were comfortable. If you order room service, there is no place to put the try except for on the bed. Perhaps there should be a folding table stowed in the cabin (under the bed?) that can be used. The bed was comfortable but there was definitely a lack of seating.
