We chose this cruise as it was a long time since we had been on a larger ship (Celebrity Alaskan cruise 11 years ago) and we felt like an end of summer holiday through Australian ports that we are fairly familiar with.

We flew to Perth from Auckland 4 days prior to the cruise and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful city.

Embarkation was a nightmare as no training had been given to the local staff who were trying their best to process the guests with no help from the bored Celebrity staff who were wandering behind them.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Cabin was excellent except for the sliding wardrobe doors which should be thrown overboard. They stick and you can’t see your clothes. Bifold doors would be 100% better

Port Reviews

Tauranga

Just enjoyed wandering around the very pretty port area

Adelaide

Travelled into town by train and enjoyed getting reacquainted with the centre of town

Melbourne

My wife enjoyed the shops and I tagged along

Sydney (Australia)

We both enjoyed strolling around circular quay and the rocks area followed by a tour of the opera house which was great. Followed this up with a nice lunch at an outdoor restaurant looking at the boats and people. Finally had a stroll through the park
