Everything about the ship was wonderful. The crew was polite and attentative. The food delecious. Other than that, it was a rippoff. The carpet and rooms smelled like mold and mildew. You have to buy the privalage to dring anything other than water, even at dinner, that's fine. So you purchase a pass to drink sodas. The enternet is not very user friendly, and very exoensive for what you get.

Then there are these day excursions that they really rob you on. We purchased the Myan Ruins trip. DO NOT DO IT. it cost us an arm and a leg to get to see a pyramid for 25 minuites. We were on a bus for nearly 5 hours and on a taxi boat for almost 2. Had to listen to a tour guide talk non stop about how he was the best of all the guides in Mexico, and then only had 25 minuites to see the 8 miles of ruins. I added up the tickets, and the whole trip coat less than $50.00 American, but they chared us more than $180.00 per person to sign up for the trip. The Dolphin interaction we were suposed to get was not worth the money either. Our last daytrip was suposed to be to Hell island to see the turtles, instead, we went to some tourist trap park that was interesting but not what we paid for. All in all, everything about the ship was wonderful. But the day trips are sketchie. Do your research, and make sure you know what the travel time is for each trip. The time they post on the descriptions, is one way. If it says 2 hrs, you will be traveling at least 4. Eat before you leave the ship for day trips. We didnt get to eat at all for 2 of the 3 day trips, and the one that did feed us sucked. It was a banana, a 4 oz box of warm mango sugar water, single serving bag of Mexican Lays chips, and a hogie with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese. No one ate the hogie, because it had mayo on them and were warm when we got them at 7am.

Pack very lightly. 1 bag with wheels if possible! YOU WILL BE CARRYING YOUR LUGGAGE OFF THE BOAT AND THAT CAN TAKE HRS. 4 swimsuits, a few covers, and 2or 3 short sets and your evening attire are you will need.
