Sail Date: Feb 2019
Cabin: Aqua Class

We spent two nights in Singapore before boarding the ship on the 9th February. We had booked an Aqua class balcony and so had priority boarding which was fast and efficient. I was taken to a small room by Customs Officials as my fingerprints did not seem to match that which was taken at the airport on arrivals, but that was not the fault of Celebrity.

After an hour or so, our cabin was ready to be occupied. We freshened up before going on deck to watch the ship leave Singapore. We noticed that the cabin was very hot, so turned the air conditioning to cold. We also booked single beds and the bed was made up as a double, but the cabin steward did change this for us.

However on returning to our cabin, I found that the door would not lock. The cabin was also roasting hot and we had no bathroom shower gel or shampoo. There were also no towelling robes or tissues. Just minor things and eventually some shower gel arrived, but we had to wait 3 days for shampoo and tissues. We joined a very long queue at Customer Relations that evening and told them about the air conditioning and that the door would not lock.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin was refurbished and attractive. Air Conditioning was not the best. The bathroom was very nice, lots of storage, though water flooded the floor each time after a shower. No balcony light, only wires and glass doors were never cleaned.

Port Reviews

Singapore

Beautiful place, very clean and friendly people. Lots to see and do.
