Just got off the Dream and had an absolutely great time.  Embarkation was the easiest we have ever had in 6 cruises.  On the boat in less than 1 hour of being dropped at the terminal.  The food was as expected in the buffet which was good with plenty of variety.  Had Your Time Dining (which is the best thing that Carnival has ever done) and we ate in the dining room just about every night with exceptional meals.  The wild mushroom soup is the absolute best.  Had a wait time on both Formal nights, but that is expected with so many people aboard.  First night probably had about an hour wait, but just sat in the lounge next door and enjoyed a drink before dinner, and when we got back to our rooms (our daughters were across the hall from us) we received a "we are sorry about your wait" card with a plate of desserts, which I consider great service, you sure as heck don't get that in a restaurant in a city.  Did get the odd smell of sewer once in a while but it lasted only a few seconds.  Nothing to throw a fit about.  About the deck chairs, we found chairs every time we wanted them, some times it just took a little longer than others.  But all you had to do was walk around a bit. The one thing that blows me away is the people that use the elevators for 1 stinking floor.  You're on a cruise, over eating, and everyone needs the exercise.  And for the line-ups, get over it, your on a cruise with 4,400 people.  There's going to be a wait at prime meal time.  We just waited until after the prime time and never had to wait more than a couple of minutes.Personally I prefer the smaller ships, but would definitely do this one again to the Eastern Caribbean. Anyone considering this cruise DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE, go have a great time and don't sweat the small stuff, because alot of people complain if their ice cream is cold.  Life is to darn short to worry about all the little things. Wait in line for food, they aren't going to run out, walk around for a deck chair, walk through the sewer smell, it only lasts a couple of seconds, and last but not least HAVE A GREAT TIME. One final note about the water slides, and people saying they are closed most of the time, we had winds every single day in the 30+ range and the slides were open every day. So I'm not sure why they were closed on other trips, but the definitely not on this one.
