We wanted to experience Hawaii without long cramped flights. We knew princess cruises are well done and thought it would be a great alternative. It was!

As expected, the service on Princess is outstanding. The crew has a culture of helpful friendliness. Our cabin Steward (Sahu), waiter (Sretten) and assistant waiter (Tek) were all outstanding. Duke, our cruise director, has a wonderful sense of humor and was the most accessible cruise director we've had in a while.

On board evening entertainment was first rate (afternoons a bit sparse). Meals and cabin (club class mini-suite) were as good as we have come to expect from Princess. Read more
