This was our first ever cruise and we couldn’t have picked better!
Food
Excellent always. We loved the Tropicana and main dining rooms which all serves the same menu that never failed to impress. The buffet was great, with something to eat all the time. Cookies before bed was a great ritual! Shanghai’s was also great and O’Sheahans. The other specialty restaurants were honestly not needed but looked so inviting and we’d definitely try them if we go again. We did try the Teppanyaki restaurant which was great fun and highly recommended (note that it is loud and lively not suitable for romantics wanting intimate meal!)
Spotlessly clean and lovely. The balcony was small but all we needed. The bed was comfy and everything was beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The cabin was quiet and really conveniently located near the Waterfront and amenities on levels 6,7 and 8. There was a little noise when shows were on in the main theatre as it was right above it, but the theatre isn’t used late so this didn’t bother us. Our steward was very helpful and friendly and kept the cabin perfect for us. Ice bucket always full, coffee topped up and lots of fab towel animals!
Beautiful upon arrival but very little to do without booking an excursion. We walked briefly away from the pier and felt quite uncomfortable being pestered by the locals. Recommend having a half an hour exploring the little shops at the pier and then having a day on the ship whilst it’s quiet.
A lovely purpose-built island resort. The activities are overpriced but we had a great day on the beach and explored the small zoo-type area which was all free.
A delightful purpose-built port/resort with lots to see. We loved the aviary walkways ($12 and well worth it unless you are scared of parrots landing on you!)
