From Minnesota - we booked the cruise on the Valor about 3 months out. We have previously been on two Disney cruises before (both 3 nights) and wanted to do a warm-weather cruise with our two kids for spring break. Overall we had a very good experience - people will always find something to complain about but we thought that Carnival and the staff on the Valor did a great job and we got a lot of value for the money we paid. Embarkation was a breeze - we had all our luggage tagged before we arrived by going through the pre-boarding process. The staff were attentive and our wait staff and cabin steward were excellent. Those folks work very hard for the amount of money they make - we were happy to tip them extra for the work they did during our cruise. Food was great - lots of choices and quality was pretty good. The entertainment was solid - great shows, comics, dancers, etc. Always lots of activities and the big-screen TV outside was a big hit with our kids as they watched the NCAA Basketball tournament. We booked our own shore excursions ahead of time and had no problems getting off the ship in time to make our excursions. We had an early flight home out of Miami (11:20) and did our own luggage for the Disembarkation - no problems there either. Grabbed a cab and were at the airport by 9:30. No complaints with anything at all - would like to go back again next year.

Cabin Review

Plenty of closet space - loved the balcony.
