Sail Date: Feb 2019
Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

Priority embarkation went smoothly.

Once onboard we went to a main dining room for lunch before muster. Luggage arrived shortly after. Unpacked and ready to enjoy the week.

We felt NCL is listening to reviews and making some changes that we really appreciated: no pushy photographers every where you go, no constant pushing of Bingo, no pushing of ‘crack it cards’, smoking ‘room’ on the pool deck versus walking through it to get into the Garden Buffet, drinks and food were EXCELLENT (huge improvement from the previous).

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

Cabin IA

Cabin is good size, bathroom is great with a nice size shower. Could use a little more storage though, just one closet with 4 shelves.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

8 cruise ships in port the same day as us! We decided to enjoy the ship and stay onboard.

Given the problems in Mexico and the ridiculous amount of people with all the ships, we didn’t feel comfortable signing up for an excursion that we would have needed to go to Cancun for.

Harvest Caye

Too costly to eat and drink when already paid for food and drinks not the ship. Feel bad for the tourism business taken away from the main island of Belize. According to ship documents, need to plan 90 minutes each way to get back and forth to the main island. Too risky when only in port 8 hours.

Costa Maya

Nice area to walk around and do a little shopping right at the pier.

Given the problems in Mexico, our group didn’t feel comfortable venturing too far or signing up for an excursion.
