My husband and I went to Iceland years ago but didn't see the lights so decided to take this cruise. Having seen some negative comments we were somewhat concerned but our travel agent convinced us that the company was good. The whole trip was outstanding. Yes we saw the lights which I had been wanting to see since I was 10 and said I would die happy if I did see them BUT everything went like clockwork! We did lots of excursions including dog sledding, snow mobiling and horse riding which gave me my confidence back after a few falls. The scenery was breath taking, cabin was clean, warm and beds comfortable. My husband who normally sleepwalks slept like a baby with all the sea air. Excellent and fresh food was always on offer and so much choice and very polite and friendly staff which we couldn't fault at all. The expedition team worked so hard all the time to make sure everyone was happy and all the transfers and trips left on time. It was the absolute trip of a lifetime and blessed with four evenings of northern lights entertainment.
