My girlfriend and I (both in our mid-50's) just returned from a 5 day cruise aboard the Epic. I have cruised RCCL several times and have been on the Epic (in a studio) before. This was my girlfriend's first time cruising on NCL. We had a mini-suite on deck 10 and got the Unlimited Drink package and 3 specialty dinners as our Free at Sean promotion. Here is our impression of our experience:

Embarkation - Very good. We drove from Atlanta and arrived at Port Canaveral around 11:30am. We were checked in and on the ship by 12:30 enjoying a light lunch and tropical drink on the pool deck.

Cabin - It was nice. The separation of the toilet and shower was fine with us and actually helped out at times when one of us was showering and the other needed to use the toilet. The sink set up looked a little awkward but was not a problem for us.
