After 10+ cruises we wanted to try MSC for the 1st time. The ship was configured differently than others we sailed on. Walking space was generally narrow, but there were nice cozy areas to sit. Cabins are like European hotel rooms - TINY ! Furthermore drawer and closet space was insufficient for our 2 average suitcases.

Dining was mediocre, on every front. Uninspired bland lukewarm dishes and little variety on a 10 day cruise. We walked away from the dining and went to the buffet 5 - 6 nights to enjoy better variety, especially for salads and appetizers.

Staff was courteous but appeared to be poorly trained at dinner. Buffet area staff was also courteous but would pull our plates before we even finished.
