SHIP
Layout is interesting and fun atmosphere. Feels like a small city on the seas.
ROOM
Interior stateroom was small but still comfortable.
MAIN DINING
Service is great. Everything you could expect.
FOOD
Not impressive at all. Maybe you should consider specialty restaurants because there isn’t anything special happening at the buffet or main dining. But if you have to add specialty restaurants to get good food it limits the value of the cruise line.
WALKING TRACK
Loved the space to walk/run while having decent views.
ENTERTAINMENT
Shows were decent but not impressive. Comedy club was worth the time. Skip the big shows in Amber Theater and go to any live music venues at night which are very good. Ice rink on cruise ship is unexpected and crazy! Ice Games was worth seeing.
SOLARIUM
This was beautiful but is not peaceful or quiet. Very noisy with talking and people brining their own battery powered speakers into space to play music.
EMBARKATION
Went pretty quickly. Watch out if you aren’t a RCL member already, you won’t board until shortly before noon.
DISEMBARKATION
Face recognition was a huge time saver. Express checkout was a little slow but still acceptable. Off the ship by 7:30ish.
PORTS OF CALL
St. Maartin - first time there. Will definitely go back. Check out Kay’s Jewelers. Can easily walk from cruise port to downtown.
San Juan - love shopping in this town. Low pressure and you can walk to shops easily.
Labadee - beautiful location. Unfortunately Artisan Village isn’t thought out well. Food is mediocre. Pressure for tipping and up sell for everything - have mindset of Jamaica or Nassau even though it’s RCLs port.
It was acceptable. Interior is always a little tight but you’re not spending much time there. Bed was comfortable.
Fort is walking distance as is downtown shops.
One of favorite places in Caribbean.
Only gets a 3 because it’s beautiful. Otherwise a 1 or 2 since you’re stuck with RCLs experience.
