NCL Dawn Cruise 9-day (Eastern/Southern Caribbean) 2 from Buffalo NY & 5 from Rochester: nephew, wife and 3 teenage children - 2 girls. Second cruise for wife and me. Reserved balcony stateroom on deck 10.

Thursday, February 11: SW Air Flight from BUF to FLL. Fortunately, booked direct flight; many east coast flights were cancelled due to snow storm. Plenty of stories from NCL passengers who had to scramble to get to Port of Miami on time, or who knew of others who couldn't get there at all. We rented one-way van from Dollar Rental from FLL to MIA. Stayed at LaQuinta East (Miami Airport) for $105 each room (with breakfast).

During the cruise, we did some things as a couple, or foursome, or all seven. The three teens were free to join us or not, and spent at least half the time "on their own." They enjoy good food, so were always interested in what our dinner plans were. In ports, they were with their parents all the time.

Cabin Review

Port side; deck 10 balcony. We'd stay there again. Convenient to things we wanted & view was terrific!
