We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Havana, Cuba. It has been on our list for a long time so now was the time to go. We arrived 2 days ahead of departure to explore Miami and South Beach. I highly recommend this since Miami Beach is such a vibrant place with lots of tourist destinations.

We embarked on the Sky on Friday, February 22, 2019. We arrived at noon and there was no line at security and since we are Platinum Plus on Norwegian we were able to go to the preferred line with no waiting. The regular line looked long but it went very fast as we were traveling with a couple of friends and they sent to that line.

Upon boarding the Sky we were told our rooms would not be ready until approximately 2 PM. This is unusually late for a ship this small. We wondered if they were short staffed and this became more apparent in the coming days. Read more
