Our cruise was beyond our expectations. The ship beautiful, the food outstanding and the staff couldn't have been more attentive.
Be sure to try the specialty restaurants. The Chef's Table which had a different menu every night and Manfredi's which had an extensive menu. Both were amazing! The other more casual restaurants had a huge selection of food with different selections added every day. Everything was delicious! We took advantage of High Tea every afternoon at 4 pm. The scones were the best I've ever had.
There's a covered pool that allows you to swim in the coldest climates and a snow cave to enjoy after the sauna.
Our stateroom was comfortable and had a beautiful bathroom with radiant heat. The TV had a huge selection of movies, TV series, and documentaries. If you leave the webcam on at night and there is a northern lights sighting, they will announce it in your cabin. We ran out on the deck at 3 am to catch a glimpse!
There were many activities to keep you busy and there was entertainment in the evening along with music in the atrium. The excursions were informative and fun. We went to a Sami Camp, learned about their culture, went reindeer sleigh riding and had dinner in their teepee.
I would definitely take another Viking Cruise and encourage everyone to do the same!
