We chose this cruise because it sailed out of Manhattan which is convenient for us . The cruise was horrible right from the very beginning when we had to stand in the lines for hours upon hours. Our time to be at the port was at 11:30 and we began standing in the line at about 1115. We were corralled through the port for the next 3 1/2 hours before getting on the ship. By the time we got on our backs are killing us and we didn't really feel like doing anything. That was just the beginning to the lines. We waited in lines for drinks, in lines for dinner . if you ate breakfast or lunch in the buffet area, garden café, you had to walk around the circle 3 to 4 times trying to find somebody who is going to get up so that you could quickly grab their table and then wait for it to be wiped down. People were sitting outside trying to eat when it was only 40 degrees. There was literally no place else to sit.

They gave my daughter the alcohol pass, she is only 13 and gave me the soda pass. Seems like a simple fix but we spent hours in guest services lines day after day. It took 3 days, 4 phone calls and 5 visits to guest services before this was fixed. Guest services will typically tell you you are all set just to get you out of the line and then you'll find out later that nothing was done. At least 6 hours of time was spent in Guest services, waiting and waiting. They were definitely not the only unhappy customers as the lines were always so long. We used the TV application to try to get reservations for a show but could not get a single show The entire trip. We were told it was sold out well before they sailed. One of our ports was cancelled (this is not their fault) but with everybody back on the ship there was literally no place to go. People were getting in fights over lawn chairs and everybody was miserable. The only excuse they could give people is that' they had too many people on board. They did not seem to understand that that was still all their fault! Food was very average but edible most nights. Cagney was good , moderno was okay, la cuccina was bad. Complementary dining was average. Mojito bar was great.
