*NOTE* This is a long review, but I owe that to the fact of just how bad this cruise was. Sorry for the length.

This was our first (and last) Royal cruise. I've cruised about 50 days total on Carnival and Holland America, and despite being just 36 I LOVE Holland. But my brother is a life time Royal user and keeps telling us to take one. So we did. Let me at least get a few positives out of the way.

--This cruise had a very nice price point (maybe others don't like the ship and that's why). We LOVE the ABC islands and this was one of the only cruise lines to hit Bonaire that fit into the 7 day time frame.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

The cabin was fine, however the shower door clearly had mold around where the doors join together. There was also no garbage can/holder in the bathroom. Also, this cruise had far fewer channels to watch, which for having a 1 year old onboard, was a bit annoying as it barely had any entertainment for her while we were changing.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

The port town felt like Las Vegas with all of the people throwing cards at you begging for you to come in their shops. Some of the people would borderline harass you with cat calls.

Aruba

Aruba is beautiful. Just use the public bus system to get to the beaches.
