We were treated like VIP’s where ever we were on the ship. Ship staff were always friendly and helpful. Raymond took great care of our cabin. We had a window and could see the stars at night. We attended a show with the illusionist and another with aerialists. Superb! As for the shore excursions, we got off at each port and walked around. Unfortunately, the excursions we were interested in doing had an age limit of 60. No ATV’s for us. Be sure to read the fine print re: age before you purchase a package. Our attitude for getting on the cruise was “warm weather and sunshine” who cares where we go! We checked out renting a condo in Miami and Keywest and it was about the same to go on a cruise. The clincher was unlimited food and drink and have people spoil us for six days! Boarding the Jade out of Miami and having an excursion in Key West, was our main interest since we have not been there.

On another note, the fitness center is state of the art. Great equipment. We found the best time to work out is 6 am and when the ship arrives at a port. Also, we found another walking track on the 7th floor. Very few people use the track since you have to weave your way around the shuffleboard and a few smokers....but it is much less crowded and bigger than the top floor track.

If you are looking for deals in the shopping area of the ship, save your money. No Michael Kors, only Guess handbags. Not my style. There were winter scarves on sale for $10...no thank you, we have plenty!
