We booked this trip to try something different. We have sailed on 53 cruises, have sailed with Princess 4 times before this sailing. We have sailed on many cruise lines and have our favorites but wanted to try the Regal Princess.
The ship is very pretty inside and our stateroom was very nice at at the back of the ship on the Baja Deck. It was very quiet there and we enjoyed the views.
The one thing that we did not like was the elevators. We found that when you wanted to go to a deck you sometimes had to get off of one elevator and walk to get to another one to get to where you wanted to go. Never have seen that on other lines.
We were not happy with breakfast on this ship. There was only one restaurant open for breakfast and the hours were from 7:30am to 9:00am. So if you wanted to seep in you had to go to the buffet on Deck 16. We do not like buffets at all and it was very crowded most of the time. Dinner in all of the restaurant were very good and also a lot of choices. The staff in all of the restaurants work very hard and always had a smile on their faces and made sure the passengers were taken good care of..
The shows were outstanding and we went both weeks every night.
Had no problems getting off the ship and they did an excellent job getting people to where they needed to go.
Cabin very clean, had a lot of room for clothing and a nice area for writing and putting makeup on. Deck was a little small as I thought it would be larger. Christerfer our Room Stewart did an outstanding job...
