We were looking for an NCL cruise during a very specific time frame. This cruise was the only one that fit our schedule. This was our fifth cruise with NCL. We have sailed on the Jade for several cruises and liked it much better than the Sky. Entertainment areas on the Sky have inconvenient seating especially the theater. Our meal at Cagney's was an excellent experience but our evening in LaCucina was mediocre - both the food and the service. We ate twice in The Crossing and enjoyed the food and service. In general, the staff did not seem as enthusiastic and friendly as we have encountered on other cruises with NCL. Marvin the entertainer was very good and we enjoyed the times we were able to listen to his performances. We missed having a quiet bar area to sit and enjoy a beverage (like Magnum's on the Jade.)

Overall we enjoyed a restful vacation but would not choose the Sky or a similar ship for future cruises. We received excellent service from SOME staff but overall were not satisfied with this ship.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Stateroom steward did a great job! Stateroom was directly over the theater so was noisy during rehearsals and shows which negatively impacted afternoon rest time. The room was also smaller than other balcony staterooms we have booked in the past.
