Our family does a yearly cruise. This year, we chose the Bliss. Embarkation was quick and easy, no lines per say even though we got there around 12. The check in staff were great, they allowed my son and DIL to check in and board with us even though they are Bronze. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were impressed. The ship was super nice, easy to navigate, and the staff couldn’t be better. Bars were not too crowded, waiting time for restaurants were no longer than 10 minutes and the specialty restaurants were fabulous. We had the meal plan and because we are Platinum, got a free meal at Carney’s. We went to Teppanyaki twice, Carney’s, and Los Lobos. The observation lounge was relaxing and awesome. Where else can we enjoy food, drink and enjoy sunsets with a view. Loved the singing pastry chefs in Savor...highlighted our breakfast experience. Staff really catered to our grandson and made him feel special.
We have been on this same itinerary before, so we chose to do two excursions with the ship and one on our own. Turtle cove in St. Thomas, great time, saw turtles, fish, good guides. Blue Lagoon in Nassau, really crowded with five ships in port and expensive, Private tour with Patouche Tours in Tortola, highly recommended catamaran tour. They took us to places we wanted to go, lunch and lots of drinks. Very accommodating staff!
Entertainment was excellent. Enjoyed Jersey Boys, Havana and Beatles. Comedian were ok, but wouldn’t go out of my way to see them. Didn’t get to Prohibition, since we we’re traveling with our grandson. Reservations for the track and laser tag went fast, so recommend getting them first thing when you get on the ship.
Nice cabin, new, clean and convenient to most locations around the ship.
