Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. We had an inside cabin that was small but adequate. Our cabin steward was wonderful. He kept our cabin clean, plenty of towels and provided ice daily without requesting it. We absolutely loved the entertainment. The shows are about 30 minutes which is shorter than we are used to, but there are 6 dining times in 2 restaurants. Therefore, in order to accommodate 5000 passengers they provide 3 show times and are restricted to about 30-40 minutes. We cannot say enough about the talent and the entertainment provided...excellent. The dining rooms are lovely and the staff are all excellent. We found the menus okay and the food was good. We did not go to any of the specialty restaurants but friends said they were very, very pleased. The service in the dining room and buffets was excellent. Buffet food and choices were outstanding. All facilities were clean ALL the time. This ship had a bowling alley, a garage club, and an absolutely wonderful swimming area for kids and young adults. It had a big water park with tons of things to do and a zip line. What fun! We did not go on any shore excursions. The guest services desk was busy and all staff were polite and patient with all our questions, etc.
We think it would be a good idea to provide a map of the ship at embarkation...when we get our ship pass/cabin key. The ship is big and we need a map. It would save time at guest service desk. Also, all the chairs on the decks were taken by 8:00 a.m. and most of the time no one was using the chair...just towel left for hours. Need to monitor this...somehow!
MSC Seaside is large, beautiful, modern and lots of sparkle! Fantastic ship!
We had an inside cabin. It was small but adequate. They make good use of all the space. Our cabin steward did a really good job of keeping things neat, tidy and clean. Always provided more towels and ice daily. He was kind and friendly and helpful
