Highly recommend booking balcony stateroom with spa access. The best meal was at Le Bistro which is specialty dining but complimentary meals are fabulous at Taste and Savor (same menus at these two). Buffet wasn't as impressive as I hoped. Enjoyed the drinks at at the Mojito bar and of course the drinks of the day were fun. Millon Dollar Quartet was good if you like the music from the Elvis & Johnny Cash era. Bring an old business card to use in your stateroom so the lights and air work as there is a slot for this and then you won't forget your ship id card. Don't try to skip the mustard drill. Very important and required. If you wait to buy t-shirts until the last day there most likely will be a sale on them. Check your daily newsletter for sales and the night before to see if time changes are coming. Highly recommend you book dining, shows and excursions early. Not every dinner needs to be booked ahead but its nice to have speciality restaurants booked as theses will fill up.
Plenty of room. Keep at least one suitcase under bed. Balcony worth the money. Bring conditioner for hair as this is not always provided. One movie channel with 3 or 4 movies that rotate. Live news channels. Kids channel.
Ocean Dr has all the same type of tourist trap restaurants. Offer similar food and buy one get one free margaritas (one being $39) which are hugh and mostly sugar. If you ask for a normal sized margarita they will say they can't. I recommend walking Ocean Dr but for dinner head a few blocks over to Collins Ave to Puerto Sagua. It's authentic Cuban food and so good. Enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich, Stuffed Plantains and Dos XX Amber. Very affordable too.
