I just wanted to correct mistaken impressions for possible future cruisers of NCL. My husband and I have taken numerous cruises on several NCL ships (the Pearl included) and I was astounded at some of the incorrect information I have read on several reviews.

One member mentions that it takes 1 hours to eat in the main dining rooms which he considered to be longer than necessary. If you eat at any restaurant that is not "fast food" it might take 1 hours for a nice meal so I do not consider this to be unusual. There was also the complaint that the restaurants served the same meals every day which is simple not true. There are different entrees offered each day but, of course there are "Always Available" meals which are standard. Also, we have always been asked what we would like to drink at meals. If a passenger wants anything other than water be it iced tea coffee etc., all they have to do is ask!

If a person does not wish the cabin to be cleaned at 7:15, a complaint voiced by one reviewer, all they have to do is set the sign on the door to "Do Not Disburb".

Cabin Review

11024/11030/11530/. All these are penthouse suites. If you can afford the extra fare, these are exceptional. Roomy, light and the concierge service can be helpful when extra services are needed, even if it's only preferred boarding on tenders and expedited embarkation and disembarkation.
