This is probably our 10 or 12th cruise- traveling with my spouse. We have sailed with carnival, RC, Princess, and Cunard as well. We have never had a bad experience, including this time, and I think it’s about keeping expectations in check when you travel alongside 4000 other people.

We had a great time on this cruise, but it was inspite of the breakaways staff, not because of. We read the previous reviews and were hestitant, but our travel agent had been on this ship recently and had glowing reviews.

The cruise critics were spot on. We found in general the staff was not friendly, with a notable exception here and there. We were glared at on 3 seperate occasions for asking for after dinner coffee or juice for breakfast in the sit down restraunts. We never got either. In their defense, from previous experiences, these guys had too many tables and not enough help. But as a general rule across the ship eye contact is scarce and chit chat is non existent.

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

Nice cabin. Small in comparison to competition. Bed was horrible, addition of egg crate made it tolerable, but the same as a good bed. Room steward was notably exception to otherwise consistently rude staff. Joseph was friendly and conscientious.
