On the second day we lost 2 engines, so we could not go to Tortola or Saint Thomas as we were supposed to, but instead were rerouted to San Juan for repairs. On the way in, we hit the dock twice. We left the next day to hit our final stop of the Bahamas, but the engines went out again and we were told we were going straight back to Port Canaveral. We were told we would arrive at 8 PM instead of 8 AM, but during the night they made an unscheduled stop in the Bahamas, without telling us, to pick up a part. That got us back to port Canaveral at 11 AM, after everyone had already changed their plans.

Look, stuff happens, but it’s how you recover from it that’s important. The communication aboard the ship it was terrible, they slowly fed us information, and not complete information. They gave us a 100% credit for what we paid just for the cruise. In my opinion, this is a good start, it’s what they owe us. I’ve asked them what else they are going to do to keep us as customers, and so far have not received a response.

The service of the crew was fantastic, as was the entertainment. One change I would recommend is not offering movies right below the noisy bar. Use the theater instead.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MC

The cabin was very nice, I guess the only complaint I could have is that the toilets stopped working on numerous occasions. Even though that was the case, we were very happy with the cabin.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Was OK, until a semi hit one of the boarding ramps.

Tortola

Probably very nice but we never made it, had an excursion planned

St. Thomas

Probably very nice, but we never made it

Great Stirrup Cay

Probably very nice, but we never made it, could not do the excursion we planned
