This was our first 2-week cruise and it felt 'just right.' Plenty of time to settle in but we didn't get bored. There is lots to do on the ship, whether you're active or sedentary. We found that there were lots of things we would classify as excellent (Manhattan dining Room, Choir of Man, service staff, variety of offerings in the Garden Buffet, the fitness center, dancing in Skyline and at dinner, embarking quickly as a platinum member), but we cannot rate this as excellent because of the non-existent waiter service in Skyline Bar, lousy (and pricey) meal at La Cuccina, repeat performances of ship's shows (the ones we really liked we saw 3 times, but to sit through the same exact comedy routine each night was a but much), and the staff at the Customer Service desk area is never pleasant, cabins seem even smaller than on other ships, and the bad experience of disembarkation. So, we give it a 4 stars out of 5.
Cabin was okay, but getting pretty worn out. Carpet and upholstery needs a good shampoo, the curtain was ripped, as were the bed linens, as well as being too small for the bed. We were at the very front of the ship and docking noise kept us awake (2:30 am on the last day). I miss the storage in the stool. Loved the bathroom and shower, except on the day we had no hot water.
Had a great time here, plenty of loungers to relax on the beach in sun or shade. Lots of activities offered for $$, or you can go into the FREE butterfly cage, etc. Nicely done on NCL's part.
We were supposed to do a Spa-for-a-Day but it poured so we didn't go. Very disappointing as this was the highlight of our trip. We just walked around the city once the rain let up.
