I went with a group of 12 friends from college, and someone selected this cruise and this ship. I will use my full refund that was received, but after that will not ever travel on NCL again. It was the largest ship I've ever been on, and was the worst embarkation I've ever experienced, as it took as over an hour and a half to get on the ship--long, long lines to get in the terminal, a wait for an agent to give you a cruise card, then another long wait till your group gets to board--it was like being in cattle cars. There was constant trouble with the engine, and we didn't stop at any of the designated ports, but I had fun with my group of friends. The entertainment was excellent (the best I've ever had on a ship), but I thought the layout of the ship was horrible. The cabins were narrow and tiny and made it hard to walk around. Having the casino placed in the middle of the ship made it difficult to walk through all the people to get to the dining room, and you were subjected to heavy smoking. Ugh! There was also the issue of finding a bathroom, which were all hidden away, and there were no signs to locate one. It was like they were embarrassed at having bathrooms. Something has to be done to change this--they need more signage. The dinner food was very good (if not fancy), but I found the breakfast and lunch buffets very average, not great selections and no international meals other than Indian. No Mexican, Italian or sushi. There were also very few waiters from which to order drinks on the Lido Desk--isn';t this is a money maker? We could never find one when we wanted a drink. All in all, a decent, average middle level cruise.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The tightest, smallest, narrowest cabin I've ever been in (and I've been on 13 cruises). My friend and I literally could not walk around the cabin without one of us leaning over to let the other pass, a terrible design. Likewise, the toilet and shower were also a crazy design and not in a proper bathroom.
