This was the first leg of our 2 leg Caribbean Cruise. We will do the Eastern on the Emerald after this cruise.

Took the red-eye from SF and arrived in FLL the morning of cruise. After cleaning up and having a barfy breakfast sandwich at the airport, we took a taxi to Total Wine to purchase our vital fluids. Bought several bottles of wine,a six packof soda, tonic water and a bottle each of rum and vodka. The nice clerk packed it all up in an empty wine box and we were on our way to the port.

Arrived approx. 11am and dropped our luggage and above mentioned box of supplies with the porter. Also carried a 6 pack of Coronas thru security. Waited in the Platinum/Elite lounge for 30 minutes. When boarding was started it took less that 10 minutes to get to our room. Read more
