Cabin: Concierge Class 2

First of all, I have taken at least a dozen cruises prior to this one with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, NCL, Azamara and Paul Gaugin. This was easily the least memorable of all.

The cabin (concierge class) was very small and had no storage! There were a total of 3 drawers in the whole cabin, each about a foot wide.....that's it! One closet which was a fairly good size but no shelf to store anything. The cabin was so narrow that the mattresses on the beds were rounded off on the corners so you'd have room to walk around....ridiculous! Even the space under the bed was partially taken up with a basket containing the life jackets. Our luggage JUST fit under there, with the bags nested inside each other.

We checked in at the pier in Fort Lauderdale and while the check-in was quick, we later found it was not accurate. We were traveling with friends who had a separate cabin, so we checked in spearately. At thecheck in for my cabin, the staff person asked for the credit cards we wanted to link to each account. We gave her separate cards and there was no problem. On the other hand, our friends were not asked about using spearate cards. They inquired about it and were told that all charges for the cabin had to go onto one account, but that it would be subtotaled by passenger and that they would have to work it out between them. Imagine how surprised they were when we later mentioned that we had been asked, unprompted, how we wanted the bill charged.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Fun, interactive time with the dolphins. Our guide was really fun and engaging.
