I thought being a new ship I would be thrilled but when we walked on it felt like walking into a regular hotel. Maybe I am one of the rare few but I like the wild and splashy décor in the lobby like the other ships have. I did not like the one level dinning room with the low ceilings. This was the first time we had the 6 pm dinning and I did not like it at all, felt like we were really rushed. I realize that they have to get ready for the 8:15 dinner but I didn't like feeling like I had to eat really fast. Buffet food was really weird at times, made me wonder what your average, picky youngster would eat. Steak house was great, definitely recommend if you can go. Now on a positive note. Staff on this ship were fantastic. Our room steward Su on deck 6 was the best. Every single person we encountered was friendly and always working hard. Balcony cabin was like the others which was fine, plenty of room and storage. If you have children or young adults there is a lot of things for them to do, movies, arcade, skyride so this ship is definitely a good choice for them. We spend a lot of time in the casino, I found this one to be small in comparison to other ships but staff and casino host were great. Overall I think that I may stick to other Carnival ships which I liked more.
Balcony cabin was basically the same as other ships, plenty of room and storage.
Walked to Jack's Shack and spent time on the beach.
This was a great time, definitely recommend, small children may be a little afraid because the monkeys jump all over you.
