Cabin: Edge Veranda Stateroom

I've previously done 11 cruises, 4 on Celebrity, 2 on RCCL, 3 on Carnival, 1 on Cunard's QM-2 & 1 on MSC Seaview. I wanted to try the new hi-tech & different Edge to see what it was like despite the premium I had to pay!

First off embarking and disembarking at the nice new Terminal 25 was very quick and easy. I opted to carry my own luggage off the ship, hating to pack the last night onboard. I walked right off the ship at 7:30 AM in the matter of minutes and was in my Uber in less than 15 minutes from the time I walked out of my cabin on the 8th Deck aft.

The infinite veranda I felt was narrow, with a small closet, a small balcony I seldom used as the window was disabled most of the time by the Captain and was very tight. I left the bi-fold glass doors open the entire cruise to open the room up. There are so many pillows that I had to put most of them under the bed. There is no coffee table for food and drink. The positives are big bathroom with large shower and large sink and many compartments, excellent controls for lighting, HVAC & sun screen, many compartments all over the cabin, charging/USB/electrical outlet box, big lighted mirror, retractable table/desk & comfortable bed.
