I chose this cruise initially because it left from my home port of Brisbane. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. The Princess cruise ships are A1. You would be hard pressed to find a speck of dust on the ship. The cabin was as clean as a new pin and kept that way throughout the cruise. Dining was excellent, but I was turned away from the steak dinner because I wasn't adequately dressed. But this was no biggie because it would need to be an excellent piece of steak to get me into long trousers and whatnot on a tropical cruise in the South Pacific. Enjoyed the entertainment, but a decent comedian and singers who can actually sing a tune and not screech into the microphone would be a bonus. Movies were good. Activities were great especially the table tennis and carpet bowls. Some shore excursions were curtailed by bad weather but all in all were great. The gym had a good selection of equipment.

Footnote: The trivia sessions could be improved by having 3 multiple answers to choose from.
