This was our second cruise on the Splendor. The first time was on the east coast going to the Caribbean. We enjoyed the Splendor both times. Our family of 5 flew to California 2 days before our cruise. The day before our flight, one of our daughters slipped on ice and broke her ankle in 2 places. The doctor said she could still go, but could not put any weight on that foot and had to wear a boot. The airlines provided a wheelchair from our car to the plane and we rented a wheelchair for Disneyland the day before our cruise. We also rented a wheelchair for cruise.

We spent two nights at the Best Western Plus Convention Center Long Beach. It was a very nice, clean hotel at a great location. The free breakfast was very good! The hotel was very close to the port.

Embarkation was the quickest ever. We were on the ship less than 30 minutes after we entered the terminal. It was a very pretty terminal.

Walked out of ship and followed the blue line and walked to the coast. Very beautiful!
