We booked this trip because my sister and her husband have sailed with Royal Caribbean many times.I was sailing with my husband and 3 children (ages 13, 10 and 9), my parents and my sister and her husband. I heard such great things about the Oasis and the Harmony that I was so excited to try this ship. I was thinking this is going to be my new favorite ship, but it just wasn't.

The ship sailed out of Miami. The new terminal is beautiful. You park your car and drop you luggage off with the porters and into the building you go. They have a new setup, that I was not used to. Its super easy. There are plenty of employees standing around with I-pads waiting to assist you. Check-in was a breeze. We went up stairs and sat down waiting to be called for embarkation. Once we got on board, we went up to the buffet. Embarkation on this ship was so simple!

We had a interior room with a promenade view. The room was plenty big for 4 of us. My parents had this kind of room as well 2 doors down and one of my kids stayed in their room. My sister opted for an ocean view balcony which was 1 floor below ours. There was lots of storage for all of our things. The only thing I disliked was that there is a trundle bed for one of the kids to sleep on. On other cruises, there is usually a bed that comes out of the ceiling to make a bunk bed. The trundle was narrow, but big enough for my 9 year old. When the trundle was pulled out, there was no room to walk past or stand in front of the mirror. Just an awkward setup. The bathroom was nice and I loved the corner ledge in the shower for shaving my legs.
