We choose this cruise to see ports we had not been to. Two others couples joined us. I arranged an apartment for the 6 of us. We got it through VRBO, near the port by Las Ramblas in Barcelona. Barcelona is a great place to visit before a cruise. After resting up from the flight we went to the Dali museum, Gaudi's park, and the Cathedral he designed. There are restaurants everywhere ands of good eats.

Embarkation was a bit slow but for a very good reason. The previous cruise had some Noro Virus, so they were doing extra cleaning. We were on by 1230 so not so bad. For the next 7 days there was no self-service in any of the venues. This slowed service a little. The food was good, not great but no complaints. The extra charge steakhouse was very good.

Our room an outside cabin on deck6 was fine. Plenty of room for our stuff. The crew were very attentive. Entertainment was pretty good overall. The ship needs a bigger location than Champagne Charlies for many of its activities.
