This cruise was part of the celebration of my wife’s 70th birthday, but unfortunately there wasn’t much to enjoy on board.

The food in the Queens Grill restaurant was way below what we expected or what is advertised in Cunard’s literature. The fish was always over cooked and the same applied to the lobster. Being honest the only main meal enjoyed was the rack of lamb, all the rest of the meals were below average which was not what we expected. The maitre’d was very off handed and gave the impression that he did not care when we pointed out that there was a problem. You would think that if a customer was not happy with something that he would make sure that everything would be satisfactory for the rest of the cruise.(especially in the Queens Grill)

The stateroom was kept clean and the butler was pleasant when seen.

Cabin Review

Queens Suite

Cabin Q5

The cabin was positioned close to the concierge room and was a short walk to the Commordore Lounge.

The space within the cabin was good and my wife loved being able to have a bath in the evening.
