Cabin: The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

This was our 1st cruise, I spent a lot of time researching all the cruise lines, Norwegian had this best perks. I had booked a spa mini suite, and did bid on upgrade and got a Spa Haven Suite, which was wonderful. I am so glad we got the upgrade as I don't think my husband would have liked being outside the haven, He is not into a big crowd of people. The Haven was great ,the bartenders, the restaurant, everything. We had the UBP , 3 Specialty dinners, We ate at Ocean Blue the first night on ship and it wasn't good, my husband is a big seafood fan and he wasn't happy. Mine was ok. Cagney's was great. We didn't do a lot of activities and entertainment as we mainly relaxed. The ports and excursions were fun. I am actually planning our next cruise, but it will have to be in haven , so will have to save money. LOL. Embarkation was very smooth, it was kinda funny as I hadn't told my husband that I had gotten an upgrade, I wanted to surprise so when we got to pier , he was like there are thousands of people we are never going to get on the ship, I saw the haven counter and said come on I have a surprise for you and we were on ship and having a drink in 15 minutes. It was so easy. Disembarkation wasn't bad but not greatest either, it was a little confusing, but maybe that was because it was our 1st time.
