Additional details

Sail Date: Jan 2019
Cabin:
Le Laperouse at anchor
Beach activities at Percy Island
Ponant's signature dessert
Percy Island Yacht Club
Zodiac transfer from the marina deck

(Apologies if this is a bit long, but I know i love to get all the details when I read a review!)

Day 1 - Boarding

As others have noted Ponant are very strict with their 1 hour boarding window, and even turning up 15 minutes early meant we were only able to leave our luggage and head for a beer in the brewery next door!

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Stateroom

The lowest grade of cabin, but perfectly good. Only minor drawback was solid metal balcony wall vs. glass on higher decks. However the cabin was brilliantly located with most of the major public areas very close on the same level (Reception, Main Lounge, Theatre etc).

More details in main review.

Port Reviews

Cairns

Lots for tourists to do in Cairns (except when it's flooded like it was when we were there!)

Willis Island

Only done for 'technical' purposes, a sail by in the night

Sydney (Australia)

Lots to do, but there cruise ship facilities are 3rd rate at best
