We didn't explore Cape Canaveral because this was our third from this location. However, if it's your first then come a day earlier and take a tour of NASA Cape Canaveral. The embarkation and disembarkment were easy. The service from the staff was exceptional most of the time. The food overall was the best we had all year cruising and that was our forth cruise in four months. The port excursions were very good and the $50 credit for each cable against were both occupants booking was great. The ports selection and ship was the main factor for selecting this cruise. The Epic is a beautiful ship and easy to navigate. The specialty restaurant overall were exceptional except for Cagneys which was disappointing because the service and food. We enjoyed the movie nights under the stars outside in H2O on the back of the Epic. Finally, the entertainment was excellent. I would love to cruise on a transatlantic on this ship in the future.
The cable was a different construction then most cruise ship. The bathroom caponates are separated. The shower and toilet located in entrance and across from each other with frosted glass enclosure. Then there's a curtain to close off that area. At the foot of the bed is the sink for washing up, shaving and brushing your teeth. Closet are located to the back of the room.
